Minimum age 13+

IT-HIT is a short-video app for people aged 13 and up. This page explains who can use the app and how we moderate the content everyone sees.

1. WHO CAN USE IT-HIT

Everyone provides their date of birth when creating an account.

Under 13

Sign-up is blocked. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we remove the account and delete their personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

13 and Over

Users 13 and older get the same IT-HIT experience, including access to posting, messaging, and Studios (our live feature). If you are a minor in the jurisdiction where you live, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, and must be directly supervised by them, to use IT-HIT, as set out in our Terms of Service.

2. STUDIOS (LIVE BROADCAST)

Studios is a live, real-time feature built around the video you're watching on IT-HIT.

• On by default - While you're on the home feed, the video you're watching (with its sound) is automatically broadcast live to other users, along with a live chat feature others can use to comment in real time. This happens automatically - you don't need to do anything to start it.
• It stops when you leave - Your Studio and its live chat continue for about 25 seconds after you navigate away from the home feed, then end automatically. They resume automatically when you return.
• Your camera and microphone are separate - They are never part of the default broadcast. They only turn on if you choose to enable them, and only after you grant device permission.
• Moderated on report - Live sessions are covered by our reporting tools and a human moderation team available 24 hours a day. If a Studio or a participant in its live chat is reported, a moderator reviews it in real time and can mute a participant, remove them, or end the Studio immediately.
• Report or block, live - You can report a Studio or a specific person in its live chat, and block the host or a live chat participant, at any time during a session. See Section 4.
• Not routinely recorded - We don't generally record Studio sessions. If we detect or receive a report of a serious violation during a Studio, we may preserve the relevant portion, consistent with Section 3.
• Others can save a clip of your Studio - Viewers can use the app's capture feature to save a short clip of your Studio to their own device, the same way a screenshot works. You won't be notified when this happens.

3. HOW CONTENT MODERATION WORKS

Every video uploaded to IT-HIT passes through automated safety screening before it is published. Here's the path every upload takes. Live Studios work differently - see Section 2.

Step 1 - Screening for Known Abuse Material

Every upload is checked against industry hash databases of known child sexual abuse material. Matches are blocked from publication, escalated to our team, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by U.S. law.

Step 2 - Automated Content Analysis

Independent, industry-standard moderation technology analyzes every upload for content that violates our rules, including sexual content, graphic violence, and other prohibited material.

Step 3 - Removal or Review

Content the systems identify as clearly violating is rejected and never published. Borderline content is held for review by our moderation team.

Step 4 - Ongoing Enforcement After Publication

Published content remains subject to our community rules. It can be reported by any user, re-reviewed, and removed. Repeat or serious violations lead to account bans that persist across new sign-up attempts.

4. REPORTING AND BLOCKING

Safety tools are built into the app for every user, at every age.

• Report content or accounts - Every video, comment, and profile can be reported in a few taps. Reports involving the safety of minors are prioritized.
• Report and block during a Studio - You can report a Studio itself, or a specific person in its live chat, while the broadcast is happening. You can also block the host of a Studio or a live chat participant at any time.
• Block anyone - Blocking stops another user from seeing your content, messaging you, or interacting with you anywhere in the app, including in Studios.
• 24-hour target - Our target for acting on reports of objectionable content, including removal and account ejection where warranted. Reports made during a live Studio are treated as priority items and reviewed in real time.
• Zero tolerance - Content that exploits or endangers minors results in immediate removal, permanent account termination, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

5. FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Users who are minors in their jurisdiction need the permission of a parent or guardian, and must be directly supervised by them, to use IT-HIT, as set out in our Terms of Service. IT-HIT does not currently offer separate parental control tools; supervision is the responsibility of the parent or guardian who grants permission.

One feature worth knowing about: IT-HIT has a live feature called Studios, described in Section 2, which automatically broadcasts what a user is watching, with a live chat, whenever they're on the home feed. Other users can also save short clips of a Studio to their own device.
